What is a BSDA?

BSDA is a Basic Service Demat Account. It is a special category of Demat account that will be used by a small individual investor. Investors should have only one Demat account across the depository and the holding value less than 2 Lakhs to avail this facility. The difference between the BSDA and a regular Demat account is the AMC. The AMC will be calculated based on the investment. Holding Value up to 50,000/- - No AMC will be charged Holding Value between 50,001 - 2 Lakhs - Rs. 100/-
